In keeping with the theme of this year's National Women's Health Week, The Women's Wellness Fair at Laurel Heights UMC will inspire all participants, both male and female, to get healthy. Offered in a family-friendly environment, those who attend the event will have the opportunity to meet with many local agencies to learn more about health and wellness, gain access to available community resources, participate in fun activities which promote health, and hear dynamic speakers discuss important health issues. The participating agencies and vendors will provide a wide array of health information on topics including breast cancer, mental health, diabetes, back health, dental health, domestic violence, and nutrition. Several types of free screenings will be offered. All services and information provided at the Women's Wellness Fair is completely free of charge, and all participants will have the opportunity to win door prizes throughout the day.
